Low Voltage Armoured Power Cable

Single core and multicore cables with copper or aluminum conductor, XLPE /PVC /EPR insulated ，armoured and PVC/PE/LSZH sheathed. Cables are rated at 0.6 / 1 (1.2) kV and conformed to IEC 60502-1, GB/T12706.1, NFC32-322.

1、Description

2、Construction

Conductor:
Plain circular, compacted or shaped stranded copper or aluminum conductor, conform to IEC 60228.

Insulation
PVC /XLPE are conform to IEC60502-1.

Colours for core identification

Single core- natural (black or customers’ request)
Two core-brown, blue (or Customers’ Request)
Three core-brown, black, grey (or Customers’ Request)
Four core-brown, black, grey, blue (or Customers’ Request)
Five core-brown, black, grey, blue, green/yellow (or Customers’ Request)

Assembly
Two, three, four or five insulated conductors are laid up together if necessary filled with non- hygroscopic material compatible with the insulation. The filling may be omitted provided the outer shape of the cables remains practically circular and no adhesion occurs between cores and sheath.

Armoured

Single Core - Aluminum alloy interlocked armoured (AIA)/Aluminium wire/ Two layers of aluminum tape shall be applied over the PVC /PE bedding.
Multi-core - Aluminum alloy interlocked armoured (AIA)/Galvanized steel wire/Two layers of steel tape shall be applied over the PVC/PE bedding.

Sheath
PVC/PE/LSZH are conform to IEC60502-1.

3、Application

These cables are most suitable for underground burial where there is a risk of mechanical damage.
